Was in 2/187th, got there in January of '84 and left at the very end of '86. HHC, BN Mortar Platoon. SFC Fullwood was platoon sergeant. Was there for the activation of the entire BN onto Airborne status in April of '85 (even went to jump school at Ft. Sherman).

ATTENTION RED DEVILS: 15 Sep 18 we lost another RED DEVIL William (Will/Bill) Marten he was in SCOUT PLT before and during Just Cause and then went on to be a Team Leader and Squad Leader in B Co. BANDIDOS. He would later serve in 10TH GRP and 7TH GRP on many ODA Teams. He was true friend to many of us and a True Red Devil. David Goodwin I hope you don't mind I will use your post from FB : Will passed away at 1822 this evening with family and friends by his side. He was a great friend, a true warrior, and the world is less of a place. I know the entire Scout PLT 1/508th will shed a tear.
